For this year’s Global Entrepreneurship Week, students will present their social enterprise strategy, outlining how their social enterprises tackle social issues facing potential beneficiaries. Global Entrepreneurship Week will take place from November 16 to 22, 2020 under the theme: “Removing Barriers and Welcoming All”. Students will submit their application and be invited to present their strategy at a Global Entrepreneurship Week Online Event.

The Social Enterprise in Secondary School Programme will be hosting its own Online event in Global Entrepreneurship Week under the theme: Using Strong Business Strategies to Tackle Social Issues. At this event, students will present to a panel of judges that will include key stakeholders of the SSEI Programme (Ministry of Education Youth & Information officials, Social Entrepreneurs, Social Enterprise Sector Policymakers, British Council, VM Foundation, etc) and an audience of their peers from the programme.

Students will get a chance to display their progress from week 1 to week 3 and their social enterprise in Global Entrepreneurship Week. They will work in their groups to develop a creative way to present their social enterprise strategy utilising the Logic Model Canvas to assist them in brainstorming all the necessary components of their Theory of Change. Having developed their theory of change, students will then develop creative ways to present their business strategies.
